First, why not choose a pattern? Kristen Ballering has several you can choose from here: Pillow Patterns. Or, if you want to create your own design, you can find Hookfully’s A-Z guide of crochet stitches here: Crochet Stitches. Please only select a maximum of three stitches for your design (or indicate in the text box that you are willing to pay an additional charge for more stitch types). Sizes vary according to pattern and will be discussed once you’ve submitted your order.
Next you need to choose the colors and textures. You may choose up to four separate colors, or you can opt for a multi-colored yarn. If you are aiming for soft and fluffy, check out Joann’s “blanket yarn” category here: Blanket Yarn. If you want a more intricate design, have a look at worsted yarns here: Worsted Weight Yarn. Certain wool, merino, alpaca, and designer yarns will involve an additional charge due to higher materials costs.
Now, use the email field in the checkout to provide an address for correspondence about your order. You may use the text box to provide your specifications. If you would like some assistance, please indicate that in the text box and I will reach out via email to help you create what you want. You may also request a Zoom Happy Hour where we can talk through your project “face-to-face.”
Please note that this is only a pillow cover, the order does not include the pillow insert.
Like all Aunt Sam’s creations, your pillow cover is being custom made so please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery. Also, please be aware that your pillow cover is being made in a home with a dog. I will do my best to ensure that your order is as fur-free as possible.
Refunds on orders are available minus the cost of materials and customers are responsible for return shipping.
